Vehicles we accept in Memphis

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs — running or not, clean title or complicated.

At Rides for Pride, we believe every vehicle has the potential to make a difference in our community, whether it's drivable or not. We accept a wide range of vehicles, from sedans to motorcycles and even some non-running vehicles. Each donation helps support our mission of connecting Memphis residents with vital benefits programs. Your vehicle donation helps us fund services like SNAP and TennCare, making a real impact in the lives of your neighbors. So, if you’ve got a vehicle that you no longer need, consider donating it to Rides for Pride, and help us make Memphis a better place!

Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

Most cars and sedans are sold at auction where their value is maximized. If they're not drivable, parts may be salvaged or the vehicle recycled, ensuring every donation counts towards our mission.

Memphis has a vibrant car culture, and used cars often transition nicely to families in need or local dealerships.

Pickup Trucks
1995-present

Pickup trucks are highly sought after and typically sold at auction. If they can't be driven, they'll be carefully evaluated for parts and recycling, benefitting our local economy.

With many Memphians needing trucks for work or hauling, your donation can significantly impact someone’s life.

SUVs & Crossovers
1995-present

SUVs and crossovers are often auctioned off, catering to families in search of reliable vehicles. Non-drivable ones can still be recycled or stripped for parts.

Families in Memphis love the versatility of SUVs, making your donation even more valuable to our community.

Motorcycles
1995-present

Motorcycle donations are generally sold at auction or can be sold for parts. Their unique appeal often attracts collectors and enthusiasts.

Memphis has a growing motorcycle community, and your donation can help a passionate rider get back on the road.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers are often auctioned and can yield substantial funds for our services. If they’re not running, we assess them for parts or recycling.

With Memphis being a great starting point for road trips, your RV donation can help families create memories.

Boats
1995-present

Boats are unique donations often sold at auction or evaluated for parts. Even non-running boats can be recycled, ensuring their value is realized.

While not on land, boats are a popular attraction for clubs and recreational activities on lakes near Memphis.

Commercial Vehicles
1995-present

Commercial vehicles are typically sold at auction, helping businesses find affordable options. Non-running units may be disassembled for valuable parts.

Memphis, being a hub for businesses, can greatly benefit from donated commercial vehicles, improving the local economy.

Non-running Vehicles
1995-present

Even if a vehicle doesn’t run, it still holds value. Non-running vehicles are evaluated for parts and recycled, ensuring they contribute to our mission.

In Memphis, many folks have non-running cars just taking up space. Your donation can turn that old clunker into community support.

Condition guide

When considering donating to Rides for Pride, it’s essential to understand the condition of your vehicle. Running vehicles are generally the easiest to accept, as they can be auctioned off quickly for maximum benefit. Vehicles that don't run can also be donated — we will assess their parts and recycling potential to ensure they still hold value.

However, vehicles with salvage titles can complicate the donation process. If a car has a salvage title, we may still accept it on a case-by-case basis, depending on its condition. Clear titles are always the best option for ease of processing, but we aim to accommodate as many donations as possible to support our mission.

Rides for Pride is equipped to handle these challenges with an experienced team. We'll coordinate the pickup at your convenience, ensuring a hassle-free process whether your vehicle is in a driveway, on the street, or in a hard-to-reach location. Just give us a call, and we'll take care of the rest!
