Condition & logistics
Running vs Not Running
Don’t worry if your motorcycle isn’t in perfect condition! Rides for Pride accepts bikes that are running and those that need a little TLC. Every donation counts, whether it's a cherished ride or a project bike gathering dust.
Title Issues
Ensure the title is signed over to us, including the odometer reading. If there are any discrepancies or title issues, we can help guide you through clearing them up. Don’t let paperwork hold you back from donating!
Storage and Pickup Logistics
We’ll work with you to arrange convenient pickup, whether your motorcycle is in your garage or at a local repair shop. Just give us the details, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Title transfer & paperwork
When it comes to transferring titles for motorcycles in Tennessee, ensure that you have the title ready with your signature and the odometer reading. Tennessee requires specific forms for transfers, which can often be completed at the DMV. If you’re unsure, we can provide guidance! Remember to return your old plates, as they are not transferable. It’s a straightforward process that helps keep everything above board.
Tax deduction for this donation
Donating your motorcycle may qualify you for a tax deduction, typically ranging between $200 to $500, depending on the condition and market value of your bike. We’ll provide you with a 1098-C form post-donation, making filing your taxes a breeze. Who knew giving could be this rewarding?
